Trying Jimmy Dean Breakfast bowls

I love blogging, with that comes many opportunities to try new products and let my readers know how my family or I felt about the products. I am a member of The Insiders and I was picked to try out out these new breakfast bowls from JimmyDean.

Our family is big on breakfast. What I mean by that is that is we can eat breakfast foods anytime of day or night, while almost never getting bored. There are just so many combinations. Yes we buy breakfast products like hash browns, eggs, sausage, bacon, veggies, pancake mixes, etc, but we don't often buy products that are made for the microwave.

Don't get me wrong there are lots of great microwave meals we have tried and use regularly throughout the year we just prefer making things from scratch. Our family has been through the ringer for the last year and half  so convenience has been the necessity due to circumstances beyond our control.
During the whole time we never got around to trying out the JimmyDean Breakfast Bowls, not sure how, because I know we looked at them tons of times, but money was tight so we always said next time.

Now that we have had time to settle somewhat back into our regular routine we were able to try the JimmyDean Breakfast Bowls out in three different varieties Burrito Breakfast Bowl, Ranchero Steak & Eggs Bowl, and Loaded Potato Breakfast Bowl.

Loaded Potato Breakfast bowl was probably my favorite due to the bacon that was in it, followed by Burrito Breakfast Bowl, and then Ranchero Steak & Eggs Bowl. What I loved about the Burrito Breakfast Bowl was that the beans did not over power the dish. There were just enough to give it that burrito taste with firm beans instead mushy re-fried beans. The Ranchero Steak & Eggs Bowl was by far my husbands favorite. JimmyDean had him at Steak.

These are all quick and easy to make, Great for quick breakfast solutions or when you are on your own but don't want to make a big mess in the kitchen. Great for bloggers like me when the rest of the family is out and about.

Personal Injury

8 days after surgery 10 days after accident

On February 12, 2013 my husband slipped and fell on ice outside of his job. What we thought would be a fast and easy recovery became a nightmare. It was the first time ever we had to seek counsel and the first place we called was a Personal Injury Lawyer who referred us to another Lawyer group because it involved his employer.

We contacted them right away and they jumped on my husband's case. With my husband's case it went straight to workman's comp. Like I said it was a nightmare. My husband did not heal from operation and he ended up totally disabled with leg, nerve, and spine damage. We had problems from the ER, Surgeon, and Physical Therapy. If we had known then what we know now things would have been handled way differently.

We were totally blind and totally trusting that everyone had our best interest in mind, we were totally wrong and eventually ended up homeless for over a year and half waiting for money to come through for disability. This was after 3 years of eating away at our own personal savings. If you have children and are the main bread earner I suggest you call around to get a good lawyer the first time, get a second opinion, and really cut out your spending as much as possible. You just never know what can happen or how long things will take to get back on track.

As for us 5 years later we are still struggling to get on our feet. Our family has been torn apart, thrown around, and treated badly all because of one slip on ice that changed our lives forever. Do me and yourself a favor. Find a good lawyer, a good Dr., and make sure they listen to you.  If you are in Florida you can contact Winters & Yonker The Aggressive Lawyers.

Picture of my husband on a good day, still in very much pain that has gotten worse over the years with other problems brought on by accident.

Hayes-Alan Sensory Chew Brick

These sensory chew bricks from Hayes-Alan have several uses. Mainly made for those with ADHD, autism, and oral needs, but can also be used for teething babies. I love how the necklace is adjustable from a small neck to a large neck. It has three textures. One is like that of a building brick but thing soft. One has little tiny nubs, and the last is just a smooth surface. These are made of non-toxic silicone, are BPA free and have a little flex to them which makes it perfect for bending back and forth. Much more quite then clicking a pen in and out I can vouch for that one.

If you are interested or have a need for something like this in your or a loved ones life you can find them at my link below.

Stop Your Dog from Barking with these Simple Methods

A barking dog can be super disruptive if not understood and dealt with appropriately. If this is a problem you’ve been having, these simple tips from a professional dog trainer will help you mitigate the problem and help you train your dog to only bark when it is supposed to.

First we’ll look at why your dog barks. From there we’ll give you

Understand Why Your Dog is Barking
Let’s take a journey into the mind of your dog. He or she will be naturally protective over you, and barking is a means of communicating both love and fear. Here are four of the most common reasons your dog barks.

1. Irritating Sounds
There are many dogs who hate certain sounds. Remember that a dog has very sensitive hearing, so barking is a way of letting out frustration when these sounds occur.

Sounds like the following will make some dogs bark:
Fireworks (even ones that are far away)

Motorcycles
High pitched sounds
Other dogs barking
Sirens
House alarms
Thunder

If these sounds cause your dog to bark, you may want to try and prevent your dog from being exposed to them. But you can also keep some treats on hand whenever these sounds occur and give them to your dog when they do. This will teach your dog to associate pleasure with the sound rather than a sense of alarm.

2. Warning Barks
A common reason for a dog barking is to warn you of perceived danger. Dogs are natural protectors and will always bark if they sense an intruder or some form of danger.

In these cases it’s important to reassure your dog that the danger they perceive is nothing to fear. By simply investigating the situation and telling your dog that there’s no need to bark, you will teach your dog the difference between perceived danger and REAL danger.

3.Frustration
A dog that isn’t being walked often will act out in frustration by barking excessively. They will bark at other dogs being walked past your house because they too want to see what’s going on outside their parameter.

Imagine being cooped up in one small space all day. Dogs are naturally curious and want to explore their surroundings. If they don’t get that opportunity, they will become barkers.

4. Playful Barking
Sometimes dogs bark out of pleasure. If you play with a rumbustious dog it will display its excitement through barking. This is completely natural, so don’t be too hard on him or her if this happens during playtime.

Now let’s look at three training methods to help stop your dog from barking excessively. .

The Tin Can Method
Filling a coffee can with stones and rattling it when your dog barks can become a powerful training tool. The sound it makes is unpleasant to dogs, and will act as a disciplinary tool that stops them while it happens.

Take Your Dog for Regular Walks
Always walk your dog. A daily walk will eliminate frustration and decrease barking brought on by boredom and prolonged confinement.

Discipline
Sometimes a tough hand is necessary. A stern “No!” is in order to show your dog that barking is not necessary at certain times. Remember to exercise positive reinforcement as well when your dog barks for the RIGHT reasons.

[Conclusion]
Remember that your dog should bark. Most of us have dogs at least in part for security reasons. So let your dog warn you with its bark instead of seeing barking as a pastime. We hope these methods will help you do just that.
