I remember growing up with either break in our refrigerator or in the breadbox. Being a mom now myself I have been wanting one. I have had a few but this red one is great because it is one of my favorite colors to use in a kitchen.

This is a little different because it opens from the top instead of opening from the front but it is quickly growing on me. The bright red helps with that part.

This is also available in white for those who don't want a bold red in their kitchen.

Rock N Learn

My 8 year old who is a bit behind in reading is enjoying these and once she is done these are going to my grand daughter next. I love how they learn with this set of DVD's and their site has even more learning DVD's to choose from.

We are interested in a few for our daughters. Learning through and with music is a great way to pick up things, while being able to remember and use it over and over again. Like the old school house rock cartoons which we own as well.

There is so much here that my daughter is still making her way through these DVD's over the summer to keep her ready for next year.

Homeless in Marksville Day 9

Homeless in  Marksville Day 9 July 14th 2016

We were up nice and early to get packed and moved to our new motel. Once our ride was there we packed up the van and were on our way to our new motel. When we first got here they didn't have our paperwork but the owner still let me have the keys so I could call and get the papers faxed to them ASAP.

We did a quick clean up, hooked up the internet. The computer had no problem but to use our iPod or iPad we have to walk down two doors for it to work. The kids are much happier here although the beds could be bigger then are very soft and comfortable.

Soon after we were settled we were off to Dorothy's appointment which went well, and then home again. The kids had wanted to go swimming but when we went to swim we were told the people who were homeless couldn't swim.

I felt like a Jewish person during the Holocaust, and Dorothy was devastated. The case worker will be hearing from me on Monday and maybe she can explain to the owner it doesn't matter who is paying for us to stay here we are still paying guests.

We went back to the room, where we had dinner, took showers, and turned in for the night.

Cute shoes that are sure to please any girl this coming school year. They are slotted for cheer but they look fun to wear. They didn't have my size in Black so we ordered my daughter's size in Pink. She isn't sure if it will be the in thing or not but she is willing to wear them.

If I had the black pom pom sneakers I would wear them around no problem. Super cute and different then other sneakers on the market. These would be cute with dresses, skirts, leggings, and jeans.
