Beginner's Carving

If you are thinking about carving or know someone who is this might be a great item for them. I can see more advanced carvers using this tool set as well.

Years ago my husband liked to carve but did it with knives and ended up getting stitches more then I would have liked him to have because he had the wrong tools. Tools like this might have saved him a few trips.

I love that it comes with so many pieces so that you can get different carving techniques with one set. There are 12 pieces in the set and the ebook that was included is a really nice extra.

We told ourselves we would try to make sure our children had the right tools to do arts and crafts with so they wouldn't have to make those trips to the hospital. So far so good, 25 years later and no trips to the hospital for craft disasters.

Art Tribute Guitar Picks

When I saw this I thought of my daughter right away. If by the way she sees this before she gets it for her Birthday. Happy Birthday Dennise.

She plays a few instruments and a guitar is one of them. I thought this pick set from Art Tribute was a unique item she might not find on her own.

I love that this comes in a nice case with 2 of each of a renaissance painting. The pictures are on both sides of the picks and there is a really nice key chain that hold a few picks inside.

Ready for the next Snow

Even though Ski season is done in our area these will be ready for next year. As a child I had a old pair of goggles so that they sun wouldn't hurt my eyes when I was out playing in the snow.

I love that these come with a pouch, lens cloth, and face mask. These are really shiny and more on the rainbow side then the mirrored side but y daughter loves them. They will come in great use next year.

Another thing I like about these goggles is that that can fit overtop of a helmet if you wear one while skiing. These can also be used for sleigh riding, snowboarding, or any other winter sport where you need protection from the sun.
