Hair Skin Nails Vitamins

I had already reviewed this once but didn't take before and after photos. You can read my first  review here. This time I took pictures of my daughter's hair before and after using the Hair, Skin, And Nails Vitamins for 9 weeks. She didn't take them every day but she just finished the bottle and is looking for more. Her hair is curly and unruly which causes lots of knots, breakage and work for my daughter.

I have had 6 children and her hair has always been the hardest to upkeep. What would take me minutes to do with the other girls her hair would take hours. The vitamins have helped her hair grow in more healthy after her last hair cut which was badly needed. You can see the pictures below.

After they cut her hair they did straighten it, and you can still see a lot of damage. She still needs another trim but we needed her hair cut for prom so they did the best they could with what she had. Her hair was down her back. I remember when he hair touched her behind. She had all but given up and was going to do dreads.

She loves the growth of her hair on top of how healthy it is growing in. Can not wait to see her hair after the next trim and more vitamins.

Vitamin D Gummy Bears

Personally I would have to eat pretty much the whole bottle at I need 84,000 IU a week just to keep my vitamin D levels showing.

Because my numbers are so low I make sure that my children take a Vitamin D supplement so they don't face the problems I have had in my adult hood.

I grew up on  a farm drinking raw milk, and because I was a sickly child to begin with I didn't see much sun because I was always told by the Dr.'s to stay inside away from those who would get me sick. My immune system has never been strong to begin with. So here I am an adult that has had their store of Vitamin D dwindled over the years to the point where I need to take my vitamins trying to make my numbers go higher each time I am tested. I am still on the low side but my numbers aren't as low as they one were. Every higher number is a big achievement.

These vitamins are pretty good tasting had to try one before I would let my kids take them. They also take them no problem. The downside is I don't like that they look like candy so we had to have a big talk with my younger girls that they are in the medicine box for a reason. They are medicine not candy and can only be taken with an adult present.

You can purchase the Vitamin Dc 800 IU Gummies on Amazon.

Vita Sciences Maxasorb Vitamin B12 Cream

I have only had a Vitamin B-12 shortage once that I know of and it was during one of my pregnancies.  I have seen most B-12 shortages in those who are Vegans, pregnant, or have other health issues going on.

My oldest daughter during her second pregnancy had to get infusions of Vitamin B-12, but once she had the baby her blood tests were fine. She was the pregnancy I also had this shortage with. Might have been that the only meat she would even let me eat was poached or grilled chicken and Albacore Tuna, and that was even far and in between.

This same daughter now has a eating disorder and I wanted to have this on hand so that she could use this since she can not expel this once it is on her body. Now if I could find Potassium and Sodium that would work this well we would be all set.

Having a daughter who is grown up and sick like this really worries us and I want to do all we can do to keep her healthy as long as we can. The hard part is up to her in the end, all we can do is be here for her along the way encouraging her to get better.

Always check with your Dr. before using any vitamins to make sure it is one you need to be taking. The best part about this is that two pumps is all you need. Easy way to get the vitamins you may need.

You can purchase Vita Sciences Maxasorb Vitamin B12 Cream here or on Amazon.

Vita Sciences Maxasorb Vitamin D3 Cream

I have been on Vitamin D-3 vitamines for a long time. I take 10,000 IU 5 days a week and 2,000 IU on top of that every day. My numbers have only risen a little and I am due for another Vitamin D count soon.

If you are only mildly short on Vitamin D-3 then this might be something you would like to check out. I have been told in the past the best part of your body to absorb Vitamin D from the sun is on the backs of your arms, you know where they bye byes grow.

This would be a great place to put the one pump once or twice a day depending on your needs. Yes one pump give you 1000 IU. I think this is awesome and great for those who can't always swallow pills like children.

I will be bringing this item up to my Dr. to see what he thinks about it and if it something I should keep around to cut down on the amount of pills I take a day.
