Ordering Glasses Online

Ordering glasses online is so much easier then I thought I would be and a lot more cheaper then going to our regular Optometrist.

Insurance only lets us pick from a certain color code sadly they don't pay for replacements for children which as any parent knows kids lose and break their glasses all of the time.

With my daughter just starting to wear glasses as well as playing sports I wanted her to have a pair of sports glasses, which our insurance does not pay for. They eye Dr. said theirs started at 250.00 which was way to high for us.

I was able to get a pair from eyeglasses for under 50.00 shipped which is a bargain for the use they will get. Very happy with the ordering process, delivery, and of course the quality for the sports glasses. These are sturdy, adjustable, and also protect her nose as well, which is awesome if you ask me.

Eyeglassio has glasses, sunglasses, and sports glasses for men, women, and children. Great prices and tons of styles. Totally in love with this site. All you need is your eye prescription, pupillary distance which not all Drs will give you but you can find instructions on how to do so online. Then pick out a pair you would like to order, put in your information, and then finish the order process. Soon enough you will have a new pair of glasses mailed right to your home.

What Eyeglassio has to say about their products.

Customized Prescription Eyeglasses and Prescription Sunglasses available at Eyeglassio starting $6 are Carefully crafted and Inspected by a certified USA Optician.

We sell progressive, Bifocal and Also Re-Lens customer's own frame.

Cheap Prescription Glasses and Sunglasses

Recently I was given the chance to order a complete pair of glasses from GlassesShop in exchange for a review. If you are looking for cheap glasses or sunglasses without losing quality check out GlassesShop, you will be surprised by all of the choices you have.

They wanted me to choose a pair of prescription glasses from the New Arrivals which is what I did. I picked a pair from the new arrivals called Pamela Wayfarer - Black/Tortoise, I might have gravitated toward them because of their name, being that mine is Pamela as well. Even though I chose a pair from the new arrivals I saw lots of other styles I liked throughout the site.

My oldest daughter would like a pair of prescription sunglasses. GlassesShop will be my first stop in having her choose a pair.

You will need your prescription from your eye Dr. along with your Pupillary distance to order.
1.Place a millimeter ruler on the bridge of your nose.
2. Have a friend face you about arms length away.
3. Have your friend measure the distance between the center of your pupils (the black dots in the middle of your eyes).
4.Or you can do it yourself simply by looking in the mirror.

MarksvilleandMe readers can get 50% off on eyeglasses and sunglasses with free lenses (sale frames included) by using Code GSHOT50.

Take a look at my video review below.

Glasses for Kids for $29.99

I received a JCPenney gift card for the purpose of this review. This post was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own.

Are you ready for back to school?

If your child is heading back to school and wears glasses then you might want to take a trip to JCPenney to take advantage of their glasses for kids for $29.99. I do suggest going during the week like we did because it is less busy and the optical personnel have more one on one time with their clients.

We were helped by a great lady and she allowed us to take her picture. She was polite, and generally cared that my daughter had picked the right glasses. Below she is finishing up our order. My daughter's glasses will be ready in about 10 days, just in time for school.

I am the kind of mother who looks all year round for deals for school, birthdays, holidays, and any other times where we need to have things ready for a purpose.

Some of my children wear glasses like my husband and me. Just before school ended we found out our 5th child who is now 12 needed to get glasses. Insurance is great but ours does not pay for replacements and we can only get them every two years so I found out about this great promotion from JC Penny Optical in which you can get a complete pair of Kids' designer eyeglasses for $29.00, yes you read that right $29.99. Great deal right?

Check out all of the frames they have available here, and a sampling of what was available at the JCPenney we visited below.

So many cute styles to choose from, my seven year old wants glasses so bad, but alas her eyes are perfect. Even though she was looking and saying over and over again I want these when I have to wear glasses. She really does not know how blessed she is not to need them. My husband has worn glasses since he was a baby while I didn't start until 4th grade. So far each of our girls has started to wear glasses sometime during their 6th grade year, while my  24 year old son still has perfect vision.

This trip was for my 12 year old and after trying on about 50 or so pairs she weeded her selection down to these three. *The Particular JCPenney Optical we visited allowed my daughter to pick from the ladies glasses up to 120.00 so ask if your child's head is more on the adult size if that is an option.

The final decision came down to what she liked but not before she asked the family and all of us agreed the black and blue pair were the perfect pair for her.

Offer includes select Kids’ frames up to $120, FREE impact & scratch-resistant polycarbonate lenses, FREE UV protection and FREE eyeglass protection plan for any school-aged child 16 & under   Dates of promotion July 6th – September 15th
