Birthday Greetings

Our kids are always being invited to Birthday Parties and we like to make sure they have a nice card to give. These Greeting Cards from Suphouse are great because they are blank inside so you can fill in your own Birthday Wishes. There are 4 each of 25 different designs for a total of 100 cards, as well ad envelopes and Happy Birthday Seals. Add a gift card, money, or a gift and you are all set.

I love that I have cards on hand and won't have to run out to the store at the last minute to pick out a card or gift. We are a busy family so having a stock of cards and gift items is really important to saving time. During the year when we see a good price on gifts for those our daughters ages we grab a few to have on hand, so that when our daughters are invited they an pick from the gift ideas and put together a present with very little effort.

Getting Ready for Christmas

Some of my readers may remember that almost 6 years ago my husband fell at work, causing him to be disabled. After workman's comp ran out our funds we had saved went quicker then his disability starting up and we ended up homeless. It was not what we had ever imagined happening. Our family made it through by faith alone. There just is no other way to explain getting through about a year and half of being homeless and then a few months in an apartment from hell to being homeless for a little over a month again before getting the apartment we have now.

During that time few people would help and those that did I had no way of thanking except to say thank you over and over again. It was a hard time. Several people helped out with gifts, sent cards, reached out on Facebook, and even took the time to come and visit. So this Christmas after two very rough years we are sitting down and have money enough to send out Cards to those who took the time to help a family in need.

These Woodland Animal Blank Christmas Cards are just what we needed to be able to write personal messages to those who took the time to care for a family who was going through a rough and unexpected time. I hope that these cards show the gratitude we have in the blessings these people gave to us, not knowing how truly they touched our lives.

This set of Woodland Animal Christmas Cards comes with 36 blank cards in 6 different designs, envelopes, and stickers for closing the envelopes. They can be found at the link below.

Old becomes New again

The set I received had cards from 6 different sets, there were many that were the same but that is why they call them trading cards. Now a little story. When my son was younger he was really into Pokemon. Recently we needed money and my husband didn't think his and our son's cards would be worth much so he sold them rather cheaply on another site to find out two months later the same set in worse condition then our set was going for upwards of 2,000 plus dollars. His would have gotten about 3,000. I am not even going to tell you how cheap he sold them, lets just say the person got a great deal.

It was a case of should have waited a bit longer, but this also got my husband into collecting all over again. This set will help with that, the extra's will be traded for other cards, and the excess of cards will be given to our children to play with.

The online cards are very different from what my son grew up so I am excited to see what this all about and the extra cards from Golden Groundhog add another dimension to the game. I wonder if my son even remembers how to play? He went from Pokemon cards to being a Magician. At 25 I think he is long over Pokemon and onto building his own family.

This is a great set for new and old Pokemon card collectors alike, or even for those who just like to play the game.

You can find this Pokemon set on Amazon.

Getting ready for gift giving

I read somewhere it is like 17 weeks before Christmas. Boy does time fly by. Being a parent with 6 children and 2 grandchildren, life is really busy, which seems to make time fly by even more quickly. We have a bit of a money bind due to a shortage with income, as in waiting for Disability to start up which is taking a long time. We knew it would but still money is super tight. I told each of the children to pick one gift they would like and I will try my best to get what they want.

If money happens to be a bit better then expected around the holidays then their might be a bit more, but for now it is one gift and I hope stockings for everyone. I will be thankful if I can at least do that for each of my children and grandchildren.

I was able to score these tags for a good deal and want to do a simple Holiday. I still love the Holidays but with having Fibromyalgia and having pain everyday I needed to cut back so that I will be here for many Holidays to come, and not burn myself out.

Yes I am finally listening to the Dr. but I still feel a bit sad that the Holidays aren't what they once were. I loved all the baking, wrapping, activities, but I have had to pare back quite a bit or else I get overwhelmed as well as depressed because I can't do it all.

So here are these cute tags. Easy to use, simple and will look great on the presents wrapped in either Newspaper or if I feel up to a bit of the wrapping paper I have hidden in the basement from last years clearance sales.

These are great for crafts, cards, presents, gifts, as well as to put prices on in your home made shop of goods. Think gift baskets, special presents for that someone you just knew it would be perfect for.

You can purchase Pack of 100 Kraft Tags with 10m Jute Twine on Amazon.
