A manual toothbrush has been part of my life from the very beginning. Then when I became and adult I started hearing about rechargeable toothbrushes, then sonic toothbrushes. I asked my dentist and he suggested that I get one because of the iron supplements I have been on I have damage to my teeth from when they were forming under my baby teeth. Even with regular checkups a regular toothbrush just can't do for my teeth what a sonic toothbrush can.
I already have a Sterline sonic toothbrush but added this one to my collection because it has the UV clean technology my primary physician suggested. I have a weak immune system and have to keep my toothbrushes clean and away from everyone else in the family. It has helped a lot in catching illness from their toothbrushes but this added security just may make an even bigger change in my quality of life.
I suggest this for anyone who has immune problems or for anyone who just wants to make sure their toothbrush is clean. Before this I had to soak my toothbrush in bleach and then into boiling water to make sure it was clean. I also did everyone else in my families this way too but no more. This is so easy and it doesn't take any time out of my day to do it. I can brush, detach the head place it in the UV slot shut the door and go about my daily business knowing it will be clean for my next use.
