Can your shower get better?

We live in a pretty old house so I filter our drinking water to make sure we aren't getting lead just in case. We have a well outside of our home which we rent, although I have not actually tested the water, I have this big thing about tasting the water where we will live and so far our water tastes great.

We do however have hard water which really plays havoc with our shower heads, coffee makers, and the like. So far we have found that the Ava Water filter works well although I had doubted it would work because of how the filter hooks up.

Others have said they have tested before and after and have seen no difference but of course we were only looking for the hard water to be less harsh which so far we have had good results, I would recommend this for hard water alone, the difference is in that I haven't had to replace my shower head like we usually do.
