As a parent you are always wondering if you are doing things right so reading other parenting books and magazines give us insight on ideas we can try as well as those to stay clear from. With Mom's Journey: Practical Tips for Raising Kids it is no different, this book was written by a mom for other parents, she wanted to share what worked and didn't work for her while raising her children.
I can't lie and say I agreed with all of her tactics but she does raise valid points on other issues, and some that we have already implemented in our years of raising children, on our own. You pick what will work for your family and child. No one but you as the parent can make the decision on what is right or wrong in raising your children. Everyone has their own way of doing things even if some are just like other parents out there.
As parents we are to love unconditionally and raise our children to be able to take care of themselves one day. It doesn't happen over night but over a lifetime of being a parent.
