Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter

Having a large family we have lots of skin to take care of so we are continually buying different products for our skin. Most of the time when I buy lotion, I actually look for it to have Shea Butter as an ingredient. My favorite before this was lotion with oatmeal, or with the scent of baby powder. 

Before this review I had never seen  Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter and was even asked by the representative if I was ready for it to be different then what you see in the stores. I said sure, because how bad could it be. No bad at all, actually quite wonderful. 

Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter can be used for skin, hair or as an ingredient in homemade products such as soaps, and conditioners. 

The bag in the picture above looks like it may be fabric but in fact is is a thick paper bag  with a protective aluminum type lining. The bag has a zip lock closure to keep your  Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter fresh. 

Inside this bag there is another plastic bag which holds your Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter which also has a zip lock closure. This company really wants to make sure their product gets to you as fresh as possible. 

When we opened the plastic bag the first thing we smelled is the  Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter which smells a bit nutty to me. The texture because mine was solid was like sand when we took pieces of it off but quickly softened into our hands.

I use as many experiences as I can to educate my daughters so they were the first to try it. My 11 year old put some on her dry knees, and my 6 year old put some on her fathers knees, and then what was left over in her hands she rubbed in her hair. 

My 6 year old keeps asking me if she can play with it so I guess I will have to find a hiding place for it, or else she will have it all over her body and any other willing unsuspecting object or person.
