Cocktail Shaker Set

Even though we don't personally drink mixed drinks except for the rare occasion at a family party or out to dinner for a special occasion we still have use for a Cocktail Shaker Set in our home.

I have been dabbling with making Bubble Tea which is really quite good. I drink hot tea plain with sugar, but Bubble Tea which is made cold has lots of cream and sugar in it with of course lots of Bubbles. Having a Cocktail Shaker makes the job of making Bubble Tea just that much easier as well as the whole drink being cool throughout. No warm spots left after using one.

Of course if you like mixed drinks having a Cocktail shaker is great and this set even comes with a fold out full of recipes. Some even sounded great to me. I love that this set has just about everything you need to make a great drink be it Bubble Tea which is what I use it for or for mixed drinks. The picture does not do the top justice. It has a beautiful picture of a tree on the top. A great addition to any home bar or gift for someone who loves to mix their own drinks.

Green Earth Frying Pan

A while ago Ozeri was nice enough to send me a product to review and I have to say this is the best frying pan I have ever had. Now I want a bigger size. This is my go to fried egg pan perfect for doing eggs, one grilled cheese sandwich etc.  

My biggest surprise was that Ozeri cares so much about their pans that they send a felt liner so when  you stack your pans no damage comes to the inside surface. Can I say I love this company or it's pans any more clearly?

The inside of the pan is much different than other pans I have used in the past. I have been married for 25 plus years and have been cooking for longer then that. I have seen a lot of pans in my life and this one is unique with the honeycomb texture. Love how my food comes out of the pan and doesn't stick.

The best part is that this is a product that 100% PTFE, PFOA and APEO Free which makes me feel better about the food that is coming out of the pan after it has been cooked. Love the silicone handle so easy on the hands. No chemical smells to worry about even at high temperatures and anyone who may have let a pan cook too long at a high temperature might know that just what that horrible odor is where you have to clear the kids out and open a few windows. Not with this pan. Did I mention I love this pan? Oh I did.

These capris come in several sizes and designs. These are great for yoga, pilates, running, exercise, or just doing errands. My daughter likes how these fit. She can toss them in the washer, dry them, and they are ready to wear again. She loves pink so the pink and white inlays are a great color contrast for your legs.

Family Game Night with Family Alias

We have always enjoyed playing games, but finding new games we haven't played yet to add to our collection is sometimes hard.

I recently went through our board games and have a list of older games that we have played so much that we are missing pieces or they are falling apart so I added those to our buy again list.

Family Alias is a great game for big or small families. Our family had quite a good time playing. At first my husband was not quite in it because he didn't think it would be fun but after a few turns he was right in the game like everyone else.

Easy to set up, play, and gives several options for play, and also a way to make it easier for children to play by giving them other options to get their points to move on the board. You can see in my picture one of my daughters helping out the other when she had to explain the picture without saying the word on the card.

This gives both children and adults a fun way to be able to explain something to someone else by using other words to get them to guess the right word. I have to warn you the adult cards are harder then you would think, at least the first card was for me. I told my husband I would have had to get a dictionary out for a couple of the words but the family cards are friendly for any age.

You also have wild cards that are just fun and silly ways to do things during the game and then kids cards that bring the game down a bit so that the youngest can play just as well as the older game players.

Slotted for ages 7 and up. 2-8 players. We played with 4 people and the youngest was 8. She loves family game nights.
