Musical Hovering Soccer Ball

One thing our family likes to do is to play soccer. Now with the new hovering soccer balls like this one from TheSimple we can play inside all year round. This one has lights with sound and works on 4 AA batteries which are included. Great for gift giving.

I love how this hovers and moves so smoothly while playing with it. If it hits furniture it will not damage anything. Even our kittens will bat this back and forth to each other. Great for family inside fun on rainy or snow days. Think cabin fever.

Kitty Play

Our family was homeless for a little over 14 months. Before we were homeless we had re homed our Saint Bernard and 5 Kitties. We are now getting settled and in a few short days will be parents to a set of sister kitties. My girls were eyeing these markers as soon as they came in but I quickly told them they are going to be used for my new planner that starts in August 2017. I know I will end up letting them use them at some point but I want to get my play time in first.

These Magicdo dual tip markers are like a paint brush tip on one side with a fine tip on the other side so you can change up the way you want to draw, color, or design your masterpiece.

My main reason for using them is to keep our family organized by color coding our calendar for the next year. Organization is key to keeping everyone moving in the right direction and on time. Bath Toy Organization

Spring time is here so out with the old worn bath toys and in with some new fun toys. I gave this to my granddaughter to use during her bathtimes in our house. I am sure my 8 year old will play them too, but they are mainly for my granddaughters. Family Game Night with Family Alias

We have always enjoyed playing games, but finding new games we haven't played yet to add to our collection is sometimes hard.

I recently went through our board games and have a list of older games that we have played so much that we are missing pieces or they are falling apart so I added those to our buy again list.

Family Alias is a great game for big or small families. Our family had quite a good time playing. At first my husband was not quite in it because he didn't think it would be fun but after a few turns he was right in the game like everyone else.

Easy to set up, play, and gives several options for play, and also a way to make it easier for children to play by giving them other options to get their points to move on the board. You can see in my picture one of my daughters helping out the other when she had to explain the picture without saying the word on the card.

This gives both children and adults a fun way to be able to explain something to someone else by using other words to get them to guess the right word. I have to warn you the adult cards are harder then you would think, at least the first card was for me. I told my husband I would have had to get a dictionary out for a couple of the words but the family cards are friendly for any age.

You also have wild cards that are just fun and silly ways to do things during the game and then kids cards that bring the game down a bit so that the youngest can play just as well as the older game players.

Slotted for ages 7 and up. 2-8 players. We played with 4 people and the youngest was 8. She loves family game nights.

Our family loves to play new games and the Last Mouse Lost was no different except maybe only 2 people can play at a time. This is recommended for ages 5 and above. Last Mouse Lost takes 10 or less minutes to play.

I like that it is light, small, no pieces to lose, and very fun and easy to play. The object is that the last person who punches a mouse down will be the loser. My girls also love to just push all of the mice down and reverse the play piece and start again, kind of like a stress reliever. 

Last Mouse Lost is the perfect quiet game for a car ride. There are no small pieces and if it falls or flies through the air it shouldn't hurt anyone or anything. It is small so it doesn't take up much room. The board is made out of a Silicone type material and flips over once your game is done to start again.

Go Bong is new to our family we have had Last Mouse for quite sometime and it still keeps our children busy. Go bong gives you 6 different ways to play with almost the same kind of board as the Last Mouse Lost does. Our favorite way to play is the Solitaire Knight Game. These games are easy to play, fun, and travel well.
