Record Rescue

This sure brings back memories. Makes me wish I had kept more of my vinyl. For the vinyl I did keep I have this nifty record rescue brush for keeping my vinyl in tip top shape and sounding great. I love that is comes with an easy to use brush with a self cleaning cover/ handle.

Since it is red I can find it easily when I need to clean my records. For us our 19 year old daughter got us back into vinyl. I swear she was born in the wrong era but here she is 19 loving music and a time gone by with gusto. For her it never left because she made it available in her own time, in her own way. Now she too can keep her vinyl clean and sounding smooth for years to come thanks to record rescue.

Record Rescue can be found on Amazon.

Old becomes New

I have always wanted a portable record player. I remember my friends having theirs and being able to move it around from room to room, outside, or even bring it to another friend's house.

I had a record player and it was really nice it had disco lights on the bottom of it and it lasted me until I was a teen and I passed it on when I turned to cassette tapes. Wish I had help onto it but hey luck would have it that I would end up with my dream record player.

I love being able to listen to my old records from when I was little and a teenager. My middle daughter received one as a gift for Christmas as she is into the Beatles and pretty much all kinds of music from the 60's, so she wanted a record player to play all of the records we had bought her over the last few years.

Sometime old becomes new all over again, these are popping up all over the place. I love that this can also hook up to our iPods etc so we can also listen to the music we have in digital format, but nothing beats the sound of records. This even comes with a spacer for 45 records as well. Love this turntable and it would make a great gift for those going old again or for those who think this is new and have no clue.

This Portable turntable can be found on Amazon.
