Our family is rather new to using 3D pens so I thought I should stock up on filament because I am not sure how much of a learning curve there is with creating with it. My girls were super excited to see we got one and are coming up with ideas for making their own creations in the next few weeks.

School is almost over and having something fun to do while learning a new skill is great for rainy days. With this filament from CoolPlus you get all 20 colors and each color is 32 feet long. That is amazing. My girls have lots of colors at their fingertips for making some neat projects. I might even have to give this 3D thing a try.

The CoolPlus 3D filament can be found on my affiliate link below.

Maker Studio: Gears Set

As a mother I love toys that help my children use their imagination to keep themselves occupied. I have been blessed with children with great big imaginations that like to build forts, play with boxes, blocks, ride bikes, and explore nature.

Even if you don't have children who like to do these things you can encourage them by providing lots of paper, crayons, markers, boxes, and other sorts of recyclable materials so that on the those days where they can't find anything else to do you can give them this box filled with all sorts of craft items and really let their minds grow.

With Maker Studio Gears Set you can take it one step further by helping them make their creations move. This might keep them busy for years once they start playing around with the pieces you saved for them on top of the Maker Studio Gears Set.

You can purchase The Maker Studio Gears here or on Amazon.

What Think Fun has to say about their product.
Designed by Engineers for Budding Engineers
Maker Studio™ inspires imagination and a love for engineering. In this set featuring gears, you’ll be able to build a racecar, a cable car, a 3-wheeler and a motorcycle. For each build you’re given Engineering Challenges – experiment with friction, torque and propulsion as you engineer your solutions. Once you’ve mastered all four builds, get creative and design something that’s all your own!

Barnaby Bellows the Big Blue Bear

MarksvilleandMe reviews
Barnaby Bellows the Big Blue Bear
written by
Dave J. Harper

As a mother I love to see my children use their imaginations as well as staying active. Luckily my children have no problem keeping up with either so our lives are have been filled with active imaginative children. One place children can get some ideas for imagination fun from are from books like Barnaby Bellows the Big Blue Bear.

The pictures and story were great for little children with big imaginations. Are you ready to use yours? I know some parents forget along the way that their children are supposed to have fun when they are small instead of having every waking moment planned out for them. Take it easy this summer and let your child's imagination soar.

You can purchase Barnaby Bellows the Big Blue Bear on Amazon.

Barnaby Bellows is a book about falling in love with your imagination. Through Barnaby Bellow's different adventures he shows the reader that with a little creativity and fun that anything you want to be is just an idea away. You will be taken from the forest on a whimsical journey. This is where you will become a Zookeeper, a Magician, and a Fireman, among other characters that Barnaby imagines with his readers. Life lessons are learned, laughter ensues, and a sense of pretend is painted through the different scenarios that Barnaby Bellows leads the readers through. For readers young and old this is an exercise in imagination, and the sole reason the author wrote this fanciful and sing-songy book. So open up the book and join in on the fun, because with Barnaby Bellows the land of pretend is the best place to be, and you are always number one!
