Keen One Organic White Quinoa

Eating Quinoa is something new we have been doing. At first we mixed it with rice to get used to it but now we can eat it by itself, as a cereal (kind of like oatmeal), and even mixed into salads. This is easy to make and even though this is plain there are quite a few flavors to choose from.

Quinoa is a versatile grain which can be eaten at different times of the day, as well as being eaten on it's own or mixed into recipes. Finding healthier foods is something we have been working on for a little over a year now. Quinoa is one of the ones that will stay on our list of new foods we give a thumbs up to.

You can find Keen One Quinoa on Amazon.

What Keen One Foods has to say about their product.

Our quinoa is cultivated at an altitude of over 12,000 feet in the Altiplano highlands of Bolivia by fair-trade family farmers. Our farmers receive an 8% premium over market prices for their crop, so by eating Keen One Quinoa you are helping provide a sustainable income source for small family farmers in the Andes, protecting traditional agricultural techniques, and helping promote biodiversity. Our quinoa is pre-rinsed to ensure the highest quality, and packaged in convenient resealable packs. Cheers to healthy eating!
