This is a pretty nice water bottle. Glass kind of scares me because with having children glass doesn't last too long, but this bottle has held up so far so it gets my thumbs up.

The silicone sleeve pretty much protects the whole bottle from light falls or fumbles. I love that if you want to really take a big gulp you are able to do that since the lid comes off, but I didn't like how small the mouth was. I can't put ice inside to keep my drink cooler longer.

Peppermint Essential Oil

In our home Peppermint Essential oil is mainly used for headaches and I could have used this yesterday but because I was feeling so much stress I didn't even think about it.

Here I am today pretty much headache free just feeling a little bit of residual stress from yesterday other than that I am feeling well. I can't fix things that are beyond my control.

Another use for peppermint essential oil is to be a drop behind your pet's neck, helps keep fleas away and makes them smell awesome. We also put a few drops in our candle wax for scented candles as well as in our Oil Diffuser for a fresh scent in the air.

 Trying to be more green as a family is something we have been implementing since we were young parents years ago. Some years are better then others, but little changes make for a big changes over time.

Our new green step is to use reusable product bags instead of using the plastic bags at the store. So far so good and many people have asked me where I got them from so here I am letting everyone know.

Composting Made Easy

We compost our products, from kitchen waste, dryer lint, newspapers, leaves, garden plants at the end of the season, etc. With that we have been building a compost pile which we use for our garden.
Most people who compost will have a bowl or container on their kitchen counter or somewhere near to store their compostable products.

In the summer months you deal with fruit flies, smells, etc if the bowl or container is not emptied out daily or washed. Our daughter would usually take out the bowl when it was pretty much overflowing which in the summer she would be reminded with fruit flies, and a very yucky smell.
