Chopsticks for everyone

Our family really enjoys eating Asian foods. With that comes wanting to eat with chopsticks. I learned many years ago at my friend Ming'g house, and have taught my children how to use them over the years. Each of us having our very own set of chopsticks is a fun addition to an asian meal. We had a set of bamboo chopsticks but they wore out over time.

With these titanium chopsticks I don't see them wearing out any time soon, and I love that they come with their own case so they can be stored away between uses. What I think would make these even better is if there were different color pouches so that everyone could tell their chopsticks apart.

You can find the Titanium Chopsticks on Amazon.

Bento Style Lunch Anyone?

The first time I saw a Bento box was in the movie Breakfast Club, and then again at my old friend's house, she was Asian and this is how her mother packed her lunches. Now with Bento Style lunches being all of the rage and a really fun way to get your children to eat healthy, try new eats, as well as having a well balanced meal, this might be something you could do to liven up your child's lunch.

Love the colors although my daughters were wondering where the pink and purple colors were so maybe Sunsella and other companies will come up with some that are more geared to colors children like hint, hint.

I like how there are different size compartments so you can have food that doesn't touch. I have a daughter who doesn't like her food to touch at all and this helps with in that department. My girls also like to help plan their meals.

Our children do eat lunch through the school most days but there are days that they have field trips, do not like the options or just want to take something a little extra special from time to time. I am not really good at making the lunches really cute, being a mom with Fibromyalgia that is just a bit much to ask, but just being able to separate the food and add color to the box amps up the love of what is provided enough for my girls to gobble their lunches down.

I use silicone cupcake liners to section off bigger spots for fair like snacks. Grapes, crackers, cheese, dip, etc. There are tons of ideas online, so making a lunch that is both fun and nutritional is only a search away.

You can find the Sunsella Bento Style Lunch Boxes on Amazon.

Get your sweaters ready Fall is coming

Looking for a great sweater that is versatile? Try this one on for size. First please notice that this is sold by an avian company so sizes to run small.

This is an extra large on my 12 year old daughter. She is wearing this with leggings but could easily be worn with a pair of spankies underneath with stockings.

Very cute and full of details, The picture I took really does not do it justice.

I has been in the high 90's so my daughter was more then glad to take this off after modeling it, but it really is a nice sweater.

Not cheap, but well made. Do take caution when washing because this is part wool so make sure to lie flat to dry.  Available in several colors and will look nice for day or night.
