Are Dog Shock Collars Humane?

Years ago my sister in law has a shock collar for one of her dogs which liked to bark a lot. I had never personally seen a shock collar before and had thought they were a bit in humane. When I was given the chance to try one out to review, I jumped at it because then we could fully test this and decide if it were something we would use in the future.

When it came I couldn't bare to put it on our Saint Bernard because well she is old and is well trained. I couldn't see using it on her just to see if it would work and her reaction. My husband said he would try it on himself to put my mind at ease.

Below you will see the video he did to bring my mind at ease.

What I liked about this collar was that it is rechargeable. The one my sister in law had regular batteries in them and they ran through them quite quickly. I know I can charge this at night when we wouldn't need it and by morning when we would need it again it will be fully charged and ready to go.

You can purchase on Amazon.
