 So here I am. Just to let you know that cake still hasn't happened. Yesterday I dealt with body wide pain, I was sleepy, and went to bed early. I did however do part of our grocery shopping with my daughter Dennise in tow. She loaded and unloaded everything for me as the pain was pretty bad, but not bad enough to ride in a cart which I do from time to time when we are out and the pain is too much.

Today I slept in, oh that reminds me I have to take my medicine. Hold on. Got a phone call from Samantha my oldest daughter while I was taking it. Will post about that in my other blog One Mother's account of Daily Life later. So where was I oh the pain for today. So far it is in the right side of my neck, my elbows, shoulder blades and thighs. A good day for me to catch up on chores but a day we have to go to the Dr. for my husband to get his measles shot.

He got them when he was little but when he started college no one could find a copy of his shot records so they had to do a blood test and he failed in the measles department so if he wants to stay in college he had to get the shots again to bring him up to 100% immunity.

I am sure while we are out we will meet up with Samantha and the girls for a bit and because it is Tuesday we will probably eat at one of our favorite restaurants. They serve Prime Rib with soup, salad, veggie, potato, bread basket, and dessert all for 12.95 although I think they might have raised it a dollar but it will count as our date night.

So that is it for today but remember "\anything can be achieved in time".

Diagnosis Fibromyalgia

 My name is Pamela as many of you may know from my other blogs, and I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I had already planned to do this blog but my husband told me yesterday I need to keep a pain journal, so I promised him I would start it on Sunday which happens to be today, so one thing checked off of my lists to do.

I will get into more about the start of my pain and diagnosis and treatment in the future but while I was thinking of it I wanted to get this up, because if I don't do it while I am thinking of it, you never know when I will get to it again.

Pain for today is mostly near my wrists, lower legs, knees, left side of neck, upper arms and elbows. Not such a bad day for me so I have made it to my daughters basketball games, washed the dishes, folded most of the clothes and pretty much delegated everything else I could think of to the rest of the family. I do plan on making a new to me recipe to try out for dessert tomorrow night later on when the kids are in bed while I have the energy but lets see first if I make it that far.

Usually I am in bed before the kids. Luckily they are pretty good getting themselves ready for bed and up in the morning for school. I am blessed in that area. Every now and then someone will forget to put their clothes aside for the next day or maybe even misplace a book bag, paper, or other item needed for school, and I come to their rescue to help them retrace their steps to find what they need. On a good morning when I am doing well, I am able to do something special with one of the smaller kids hair, which makes them feel special.

I hope that this will help my Dr's out in providing the right kind of care for me in the future. This is also a place where others can learn about Fibromyalgia as I do and know they are not alone in the pain they are feeling. I hope today has been good for everyone and here is to the mystery of what tomorrow will hold for each of us.

My motto is "anything can  be achieved in time" Start with a second and work your way up to minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years.

I am very thankful for the chance to review a new to me and much needed product. Recently a new little baby entered our family, my grand-daughter. AlainaMarie Faith Ortiz but we call her Lainy for short. Below you can see her trying it out for the very first time.

You might be asking "What is a Braidin?" Well let me tell you a little about it. First of all it is super soft, easy as pie to use, pleasing to the eyes, and has multiple purposes, with the main use being to protect the clothing you are wearing.

As you can see from my pictures below I found quite a few ways to use it myself.

For Babies you have a nice soft protector for both your own clothes and for anyone else who wold like to hold your child, or in my case grand children. It protects everyone who holds the baby from the spit up the cute bundle of joy will certainly baptize everyone with, and it also protects the baby from scents such as perfumes and smoke, not to mention any pins, buttons, or zippers from poking and upsetting the beautiful babies time with you.

Want to get a Unique Baby Shower Gift? This might be just what you have been looking for.

Some uses for adults would be to protect your clothing while applying makeup, hair styling aides, or even when you dye your hair at home. Our girls have that hair chalk and the Braidin does a great job of catching all of the dust from the chalks as the hair is done.

Another great use would be a cover for while you are eating. My husband always says I can dress you up but I can't take you out because if it happens to be a place to eat, I almost always drop food on my clothing. I have many shirts that have been ruined over the years. Wish I had a Braidin years ago, would have saved me lots of money.

This product is great from birth and beyond and maybe even further.

I really don't have anything bad to say about the Braidin other then wanting more designs, and the reality of not thinking of this myself.

I have to say that even after my first use I noticed a difference in the feel of  my skin which has been dry with this long cold winter we have had, but with continued use I noticed it improve even more.The smell is great and it lathers up quite well.  I am sold on this product and hope to stock up on more when I get the chance. 

I found this to be a great product for someone like myself  who just does not take the time to use lotion to moisturize my skin regularly, also I have Fibromyalgia which keeps me from being able to flex enough to reach all of the places I need to moisturize. With this body wash I don't have to worry. it moisturizes as it is rinsed from my body in the spots I can't reach depending on my pain level for day.

Lotion infused with Vitamin B helps draw in moisture for hydrated skin, how much easier can it be? Make sure you also keep Nutrition at the top of your list every day for not only a healthier you but also for Healthy Skin.

The only downside for me is that I have only scene this scent in the store. I would love for them to come up with more with the same moisturizing benefits.

Taconic Hills Elementary School PTO Fund Raiser (Now Over sorry you missed it)

                            

Both of my girls are in elementary so of course they come home with the same fund raisers. Luckily this one is nice because it gave an online code so I could share with my online friends and family who are far away.
