Animal Trackers Club is a inexpensive monthly subscription program specifically designed for your Pre-reader/Beginning Reader. Each month your child will "track" a new animal through age-appropriate instructional materials designed to encourage hands-on learning through creative play and activites.

Bode Bear takes your child to the African Savanna where he tracks a variety of amazing animals. Begin the adventure with your Animal Trackers Club Safari Lunchbox. This lunchbox becomes a play station for the monthly animal magnets as well as storage for the animal play figures, animal information card collection and the “Safari Animal Tracks” ringed set.
Each monthly packet will include an Animal Trackers Club Information card with easy to follow and understand information about the animal being tracked that month. The packet will also include a play magnet to add to the lunchbox, a foam animal dress-up mask, and a realistic, hand-painted animal play figure. In addition, the packet will have a “Safari Animal Tracks” card for your ringed set, containing a real photo of the monthly animal as well as the track it leaves in the wild. Each monthly packet will also contain a learning activity and an art project created to develop the skills needed to become a proficient student and reader.

MarksvilleandMe reviews Animal Trackers Club
My youngest daughter and grand daughter really enjoyed this, and my husband said he would have loved to have something like this when he was little. Then we got on the conversation about the different things we did get in the mail. Mail for me is and has always been a bit exciting. Now of course I blog so my mailbox is almost always full with something to review.
Getting the Animal Trackers Club box was no different. The first thing I noticed was how the box comes looking like a crate you might get delivered while on Safari. The first thing you see when you open the box is a metal lunch box of course it is not small like I had expected but a full size lunch box like from when I was little you know the 70's-80's.
I was very surprised when I opened up the Animal Tracker Tote and found that it was filled will all sorts of neat items. A pencil, an official animal tracker club card, little foam animals, animal cards, several backgrounds that you can play with the animal magnets one of which was included in this kit. There is also a key ring sort of thing that you can add your new animal to each month to have a kind of flip book of all of the animals you have learned about.
The second thing I noticed was a Zebra Sticker so I guessed this shipment must have a Zebra theme. Now lets see what was inside this big padded envelope.
Minus my shoe you can see that indeed this shipment is about Zebra's. My family loves to learn about new animals, and even though we know quite a bit about Zebras we did learn a few more things we didn't know. There are learning pages, craft, animal magnet, animal figure, picture, mask, and information about Zebras included. All we needed to add was glue, crayons, colored pencils and or markers.
I can think of many things to buy for a child as a gift but a years subscription to this is a year of learning fun. Either for a child on their own or with the help of a family member it will be a time of bonding and special time they will look forward to each month.
