The Spellbinders Celebra'tions Collection by Richard Garay
Richard Garay's Spellbinders Celebra'tions Collections consists of papers, inks, stamps, dies, and embellishments, all cordinated for you to personally create a special craft, for that very special celebration. Plus who ever that special someone is will be sure to know you put a little extra effort into their card or gift.
I received two kits to sample and try out along with a set of photo polymer stamps.
There is always a celebration happening here in Marksville so these came just in time for presents for both a Birthday Party soon to come, and a Sweet Sixteen Birthday. The first one was the Celebrate Party Hat Card which my daughter Dorothy will use for her friends Camping Birthday Party.
Now my 11 year old and 6 year old jumped right in on taking turns making these together. They love to do crafts with the family. Deanna is starting the card making.
Now Dorothy carefully puts together another layer of the card.
Here you can see the finished product. The girls as well as myself were very excited about the card having different layers instead of being a plain old Jane flat card.
It came out wonderful. Dorothy can not wait to give it to her friend.
The second kit was called the Best Day Ever Treat Bag. Below you can see the supplies I was sent minus the sequins which were sent with the Card Kit.
To be honest we got so into making this craft we only have the before and after. Just this alone tells me that this is a winning Collection. As you can see they didn't say Cheese at the same time so you get a treat of a silly face from Dorothy.
My 17 year old came along when the girls were about finished and claimed the bag to put a gift in for her friend for her Sweet Sixteen. Her wish was granted.
Last but not least the Photo Polymer Stamps, which at first I didn't understand that they were stamps you use with an ink pad instead of stamps you apply to things like an envelope, which is really just the same isn't it, well I hope you understand where I got it wrong.
Once I figured it out I was excited to add these to my stamp collection which quite honestly is about non existent now because of years of the children using them for craft projects. So there were well welcomed.
As you can see I started to cut them away from the plastic they were stuck to so I could use them.
After we went through the ink pads that no longer work (yes I added them to my shopping list), finding one that worked we were in business.
Awesome! So happy with the way it came out.
These products were awesome and made me look at scraps of paper in a whole new way. Just little simple things put together can make something ordinary look quite extraordinary.
