Herbalife

A friend and ex coworker Elizabeth has been using Herbalife products. She has loved using them so much that she is now selling them. She does not go into things lightly. She does her research and wouldn't be pushing anything she hadn't tried herself.

I know her personally and have seen her grow from a teenager into a wonder mother who also continues her journey in learning, while helping others.

I will be getting a sample in the mail from her to try out for myself but I want those who might be interested to take a look at what she has to offer over on her site Herbalife.

Below is a recipe that got me interested and one I would like to make when the sample comes in.

Pina Colada Macaroons
4 cups dried shredded coconut
6 scoops Pina Colada Formula 1
¼ cup coconut milk (in a can)
¼ cup coconut milk powder
¼ cup raw honey
¼ cups coconut oil
2 Tbsp. cashew butter Sift and mix dry ingredients together: coconut, formula 1, coconut milk power. Set aside. In a small sauce pan, on low/medium heat, melt coconut oil, honey, cashew butter, and coconut milk until smooth. Pour mixture over dry ingredients and form into any shape. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 or more minutes. Enjoy!

Spiralizing your fruits and vegetables

Spiralizing your fruits and vegetables seems to be the new rage. Certainly nice for those of us who may have picker eaters in the family.

Make a food fun and most kids will gobble it up, even if they won't eat it any other way. We don't personally have that problem but we do like to have variety in our diets and trying new ways of eating fruits and vegetable is always fun.

We like to include our children in gardening, baking, cooking, and shopping for our meals. They learn about their food while being able to actually take part in the preparation of their meals.

Our children like to pick out something new at the store so our whole family can try it. With the Elacra Spiral Food slicer you get to have a little fun with the foods you already know you like while trying new ways to eat them at the same time. The kids love it.

The products are sharp so an adult should always be present and doing most of the work but the kids can try some of the spirals that have already been cut.

Easy to use and clean. This has to be one of the best kits for preparing vegetables and fruits I have seen. So many pieces for one low price. Hard to beat.

You can purchase the Elacra Spiral Slicer on Amazon.
