Root Beer Float Ice Pops

Root Beer Float Ice Pops

You are going to need
Root beer
softened vanilla ice cream
maraschino cherries (stems removed)
ice pop molds

First you want to place cherries in the bottom middle of ice pop mold.
Then you want to pour a bit of root beer on top.
At this time you want to freeze.

Next you want to put in some softened vanilla ice cream.
I placed softened ice cream in a frosting bag, cut off tip and piped in ice cream so it was neat and tidy.
Use gloves if you have children helping, ice cream is cold on hands.
At this point I placed in freezer to set.

Once vanilla ice cream is set. Add more root beer until ice pop mold is full.
Return to freezer.

During freeze time you can see some of the mixture mixed but I can attest they taste just like root beer floats with a cherry on top.

No more missing tops

I have other silicone ice pop molds but after a while we lost all of the tops so they were pretty much useless although I want to contact that company and see if they have replacement lids before I toss them out.

This set from Greenco is really awesome because the caps are attached, no more lost caps, no more mismatched caps.

I like order, no mismatched socks here. it drives me nuts. These ice pops are just as easy to use as other silicone Popsicle molds on the market but you don't have to worry about missing tops, which makes these that much better.

One thing my husband does not like about regular store bought ice pops are the packages being left all around the house or yard. Yes my children know where the garbage is I just think they don't understand that even though they are playing and having fun they still need to put trash where it belongs.

Now we have no more messing wrappers, and no more missing tops.  Easy to wash and store. Now to just stock up on enough of these to keep my kids in Popsicles for hot summer days.

You can find these silicone ice pop molds on Amazon.

What Greenco has to say about their product.
