Luxurious Ceramic Knife Set

We have had a ceramic knife here and there but never a three piece set and certainly not a whole set yet but I have to say these knifes are super sharp, very surprising when you are used to stainless steel knives.

Bamboo Cutting Boards

I grew up with wooden cutting boards but I have to say I really like the bamboo cutting boards the best, they don't warp, they look fantastic in my kitchen or when they are used for entertaining, and they clean up in a snap.

Although I don't use my bamboo cutting boards for meat, that is reserved for my glass cutting boards only. I do like that the Pratico Goods cutting board has a recessed area to catch juices from fruit which makes cleaning up my counters a snap too.

Uses for Silicone Baking mats.

Silicone mats are used quite often in our home first off to protect our pans, while keeping clean up to a minimum. I have several sheets so that I can take a batch of cookies out just by pulling the whole mat off and putting on another one full of cookies, Great way to cool your cookies while still having the next batch inside the oven. I have about 6 -8 pans ready at any given time during full blown baking season which starts right after the 13th of December which is the last Birthday in our home until close to Christmas. I like the last few days to be all about the Holiday dinner and being able to enjoy our guests.

Baking Season must have

Baking season will be in full swing soon so my silicone baking mats will each have their day in the sun, well the oven anyways.

Baking and Measuring

Our family is huge on cooking, baking, grilling, etc, so having a good set of measuring cups is a must. This is our second set of Stainless Steel measuring cups. I love both the same for different reasons. We have repurposed our old mismatched plastic measuring cups into different areas where we always use that size. The one cup measure went in our container of rice to measure out quickly during cooking, our 1/4 went with our cleaning chemicals so we can mix up either a febreeze like air freshener, or floor cleaner quickly. I think you get the idea.

Now our 2 sets of stainless steel measuring cups are ready for baking, and cooking all year round.
