The Ultimate Travel Pillow Review

The Air Comfy Travel Pillow arrived and when I took it out I had no idea it was going to self inflate. I probably should have read the instructions first but it surprised me. You can blow it up faster with your mouth but to me it did it plenty fast enough on its own.

I found the pillow soft with a nice texture to it. It is just the right size to use in your vehicle to nap with when someone else is driving or even for a child who has fallen asleep in the car. Much better then a wadded up sweatshirt.

The Air Comfy Travel Pillow also makes a great lumbar support for your lower back, which is something I need since this is where my arthritis happens to be.
When you are done using your Air Comfy Travel Pillow , all you have to do is release the valve, roll, up and it fits right back into the case that comes with it. I want to get a few of these to have on hand in our car for trips.

The Air Comfy Travel Pillow also has a elastic type band on the back so you can attach it to your head rest, as well clip so you can clip it onto your luggage for easy setup.

You can purchase your own Air Comfy Travel Pillow on Amazon.

My 2015 Goals

My 2015 Goals for myself on a personal level are to continue my path with Jesus letting him lead the way no matter how much I want to tell him which way to lead me. He made me very strong and sometimes I buck against his will. Even though I grew up learning about the Bible and keep God's word close to my heart. I rarely sit down to read his word, something I want to increase over the next year.

I will continue praying for my children, friends, family, and the world. My children know to pray thanking God for the their meals, for people when they are sick, accidents we see while driving, and people going through hard times. There is always time to teach prayer. Prayer is one thing that can be given freely, while providing the best help anyone can receive.

I want to continue on losing weight even if it keeps going as slow as it is. Every ounce lost is better for my health, body, and mind. I have my tread mill and hope to be adding a recumbent bike to our workout/ entry room this spring.

Depending on my pain level which I would like to get under control, although I've heard that there is no way with having Fibromyalgia, I want to be able to prepare meals every night for my family, as well as being able to keep up with house cleaning.

Our home is not a hoarders dream but it is no where near being as clean as it was when I was younger. I use to be able to clean from top to bottom, watch the kids, make meals, and still find time to take bath while reading a book, now I am lucky if I have enough energy to get out of bed in the morning, much less do a load of dishes.

As a mother I want to continue my close relationship with my children letting them know I am here to talk to. I want them to always know their mother loved them every step of the way, even when they did things I disapproved of and even more importantly the God disapproves of. True love is unconditional and that is what I want my children to learn.

As a wife I want to continue loving, praying, and caring for my husband. What he wants most is a nice warm meal when he gets home from college on his late nights and that is one thing that I have found the hardest to do with being in pain everyday. I do have a few ideas, so God willing he will have a warm meal when he gets home on those nights.

These are just my personal goals, I didn't go into family, financial, or blog goals so keep a look out for those. Here is to another great year of  growing, learning, and loving.

Astor Canvas Log Carrier Review

MarksvilleandMe reviews the Astor Canvas Log Carrier

When the Astor Canvas Log Carrier arrived even though I read the size I didn't think it would actually be as big as it was. I love how it doesn't have open ends. No more wood falling out and smashing you in the foot, or tripping over one that you didn't see fall out.

Our family found another use for this bag as well. When we buy groceries I use coupons so even if it is a small trip, it is bound to fill up the back of our SUV. We can carry in about 3-4 canvas orpaper grocery bags with this and if they are just in plastic even more that that.

We also buy our soda in bulk when it is on sale, which means about 20-40 bottles at a time and again this can carry them in a lot more quickly then each person carrying in 2-4 bottles. The best part is that the Astor Canvas Log Carrier can be washed and dried.

So if you have a heavy load to carry this might be something you would want to make your job easier.

You can buy a Astor Canvas Log Carrier on Amazon.

What Astor has to say about their product

Make quick work of bringing logs indoors to your fireplace with the heavy-duty Astor Canvas Log Carrier. Its roomy size and smart design handle big loads with ease ... and keep dirt, moisture and splinters off your hands, clothes and floors at the same time!
Tough, Leak-Proof Canvas

The Astor Log Carrier is built to last. The super strong canvas body can carry up to 8 logs at a time without tearing. Plus, it's lined inside with PVC, so dirt and water can't seep through onto your floors or rugs. And although it performs like a heavyweight, it only weighs 1 lb.
End Walls Prevent Slippage

If you've tried open-ended carriers, you know how easy it is for logs to fall out if you don't keep them balanced just right. And if you've tried box-shaped carriers, you know they're not so easy to fill. The Astor presents the perfect compromise: lay it flat to fill, then simply lift the handles and logs are automatically aligned and contained.
Reinforced Handles Won't Come Loose

Designed for maximum security, the Astor's handles are actually continuous loops that are stitched all the way around the carrier. There's no way they could rip off! Nor can they tear apart, because they're made of reinforced fabric designed to support heavy loads.
Easy Care, Easy Storage

The Astor Log Carrier can easily be rinsed or hosed clean. If you want, you can even put it in the washing machine (cold water) and dryer (air fluff setting). You can also store it just about anywhere: it folds to a mere 6" x 4" x 1".

My Favorite Animal: Dogs Review

MarksvilleandMe reviews My Favorite Animal Dogs
written by
Victoria Marcos

My Favorite Animal: Dogs written by Victoria Marcos is a cute book with vivid pictures that you or your child can read and learn about dogs. The book also has areas where it  asks questions and you have to guess, and wait till the end to learn if you are right.

A great way to learn about animals for both children and adults. Great for striking up a conversation with your child, while learning in a fun way.

You can purchase My Favorite Animal: Dogs on Amazon.

Animal Family Portraits Review

MarksvilleandMe reviews Animal Family Portraits
written by
Becky Lam
Animal Family Portraits written by Becky Lam is a simple book with pictures of animals, that you would probably never see in a photo together. Also great for children to learn new names for animals they may not know.

Animals are fun for just about anyone, with children being one of their biggest fans. My grand daughter loves to look at the pictures and for me to repeat the names of the animals she doesn't know while she points at them. When she comes to one she know she yells out the name or when she remembers a new name on her own she yells that out too. She gets so excited. Would love to see more pictures of more animals.
