Cogwheels: Ten Tales of Steampunk had me from the very first page. This book was filled with stories that were a mixture of all of the genres of stories I like to read. History, science, fiction, horror, mystery and much more are all mixed together perfectly putting a  fresh new air to stories.

I found Cogwheels: Ten Tales of Steampunk very easy to follow and it took me away from it all while reading. I was absorbed into the book wanting to read till there were no more pages. I will be looking into more books like this.

Cogwheels: Ten Tales of Steampunk has opened my eyes to a whole new set of writing styles and will keep me reading for years to come.

This is one of many books I have had the pleasure of reviewing for Tali Carmi. My 6 year old daughter and 3 year old grand daughter love the stories. I look forward to reading more books in the series to my children. 

As always my daughter likes the happy ending. I like how over and over again Tali Carmi can weave into her books little things to help your child help others out. Learning while reading in a fun way is the best way for children to learn, and to implement these characters in their hearts. 

We as parents are here to help shape our children's lives. Reading books that also help shape our children are also good to instill the values we would like them to possess. We can't be there to always help our children make the right choices but we can get them ready for the times when they will have to make them without us.

Awesome scale. When I was told it would be digital I had no idea that it would give the calories, fat, carbs, etc. The Perfect Portions Digital Scale + Nutrition Facts Display weight up to 10 pounds. This is not only good for eating healthy but is also good for teaching my children about how size can make a difference in what is a serving and what it more then a serving. 

We learned that if a tomato is a different color that it has different calories. I also grew up being told half a banana was a serving with about 80 calories and found out that many of our big bananas were way over the 80 calories even when cut in half, and some of the really small bananas were just under 80 for a whole banana. 

This scale was easy to use and as soon as I used it, my old dial scale took a trip to the goodwill pile. Originally I was just going to throw it away but decided someone may need one for their use at a much lower price then what they would find in the store.
