Our family has tried to be as frugal and green as we can. We like products that can do multiple jobs. Micro fiber towels are one of those products.that I can go around our whole home, wiping, cleaning, and sprucing up along the way.

Amazing how much work they can do and the results are wonderful too. Remember wash in cold water and hang to dry to keep your microfiber towels working their best.

Most of the time I use just Vinegar and water to clean with. The Microfiber does the rest.

How to make your own Orange Cleaner

I have been looking for the perfect bottle to keep my homemade citrus cleaner in. What I do it fill a container with orange peels, Our family eats a lot of oranges so for us this does not take long but you can use any citrus peels and mix it up in any fashion you like.

Next I pour enough vinegar to cover the peels and let sit for a few weeks or more. I then pour the liquid off of my oranges into my bottle. I like to strain my liquid first but with the Amber Glass Spray Bottle by Emmi's Essentials I don't have to worry as much because it has a built in strainer attached.

Micro Fiber Cloths

Micro Fiber cloths are great to clean with from your car to your home and everything else in between. I did take this package from Federico's exclusively for our vehicle. Having children or pets anytime in the car means there is bound to be messes. Sticky messes that need to be cleaned. 

We bought a steam cleaner for our vehicle in mind if that gives you a hint. I wanted to spruce up the inside and tried to clean it with regular wash cloths but it didn't look any better. With Federico's my inside looked brand new again. Of course I also used a cleaner made for the inside of cars, but like I said just using micro fiber cloths to clean with made a big difference. 

The size is great and I was able to wipe off every surface except for the rugs and seats. It was amazing how much grime was inside our vehicle. Next up is steam cleaning for the whole inside for our upcoming summer time trips. 

I have used micro fiber around the house before but was washing them wrong. You want to wash them before their first use in cold water with mild detergent and hang to dry. Just doing this little things totally changed my mind about micro fiber because I found out that they need to be washed this way every-time to work effectively.

In the past we cleaned with hand towels but micro fiber cloths are our new best cleaning friend.

Using and Taking care of Microfiber Cloths

Being a Mother and Perfectionist at heart, although I am working on not putting so much pressure on myself for the later, I have bought other Microfiber Cloths in the past. I usually just use them right out of the package and wash with my regular towels. Wrong in so many ways. 

This is why I didn't like them. When you first get your microfiber cloths was them with a gentle detergent in cold water by themselves, hang to dry (do not use dryer like I have in the past), once dry they are ready to use. Make sure to wash separately and hang to dry each time they need to be cleaned.

Once I got past how to take care of Microfiber cloths I found a new best friend in cleaning. The best part is that you don't even need chemicals to clean with. I suggest if you are using a cleaner to use your old microfiber cloths that have seen better days or other rags around the house.

Cable Clip Organizer Review

My husband has been looking for an item to organize our wires that are hooked up to our HDMI and USB slots, so that there is no weight pulling on our wires.
