A powerful cinematic Biblical journey that brings to life the ultimate act of love and sacrifice as seen through the eyes of those who walked alongside Jesus.
I am excited to see so many faith-based movies and shows especially when they are about the time and people of the Bible and Jesus. It brings the words to life which can strengthen your walk and or relationship with Jesus.
Check back here after 3/12 for my review.

Growing up in the church, you hear about the story of Jesus all the time. What you don't get is how it might have been in between verses of the Bible. The movie The Last Supper did a great job with visuals. I love the opening scenes and the quick show of feeding the multitude. It shows how the Last Supper might have been, and not all dressed up like it has been perceived in paintings. It shows just how much turmoil Judas might have been going through before he turned on Jesus for a mere 30 pieces of silver.
I did feel they rushed towards the end because the movie was about The Last Supper and other movies have been made about his crucifixion, so that was where things went a bit more quickly. They only included enough to give you the feeling of hope and awe when he rises again after his death. It was a good movie when you understand it sets up the characters quickly, not all of his disciples are named, and the main theme was about how the Last Supper might have been. For those who haven't read or been taught about Jesus this is a good way to get a little information so that you can grow your knowledge about his life.

Homelessness can happen to anyone, but together, we can make a difference.
Inspired by true events, NO ADDRESS follows the harrowing journey of Lauren, a young woman pushed onto the streets and forced to survive against all odds. Alongside a makeshift family of outcasts—each with their own haunting story of struggle and loss—Lauren discovers that home is not just a place, but the people who refuse to let you fall.
Featuring powerhouse performances from Lucas Jade Zumann, (20th Century Women, Anne with an E, Chicago Fire), Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, Entourage, Vegas Vacation), Isabella Ferreira (Crush, Love Victor, Orange is the New Black), William Baldwin (Gossip Girl, Parenthood, Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Xander Berkeley (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The Walking Dead, 24), Ty Pennington (Extreme Home Makeover: Home Edition, Trading Spaces), Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3, Boy Meets World), Patricia Velasquez (The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, Arrested Development) and GRAMMY Award-Winning Singer/Songwriter & actress, Ashanti (Coach Carter, John Tucker Must Die), NO ADDRESS s is a raw and unflinching look at the dark realities of homelessness.

MEET THE CHARACTERS
Jimmy: A compassionate teenager who escapes an abusive home, finding kinship on the streets.
Lauren: Recently aged out of foster care, Lauren discovers her belongings discarded and nowhere to call home.
Harris: A talented painter and war-scarred veteran, grappling with battlefield memories while searching for peace.
Violet: A former veteran haunted by addiction, struggling to reclaim her sense of self.
Dora: Once a celebrated actress, Dora now battles memory loss and finds herself forgotten by society.
Robert: A businessman driven to extremes by financial ruin, organizing efforts to remove the street family for a redevelopment project.
Gabrielle: A committed advocate tirelessly working to support those experiencing homelessness and fighting for their dignity.
The movie No Address is so important for many reasons. Personally, our family has been homeless twice. The first time was because the owners of the house we were renting were not paying their mortgage, the second time because my husband fell at work and was injured so he could not work anymore, and in between when workman's comp ended and disability started up we had run through all of our savings and ended up homeless for 18 months. You don't always have to have a mental issue, drug addiction, or alcohol problem before homelessness can happen to you.
I find that many people are really just a paycheck away from being homeless. The need in our own area alone is large. There is not enough low-income housing available for those who need it. Right now we are renting after being homeless for 18 months. We have been in our rental for 8 years and it just sold to someone from the city who wants to gut it and I am sure raise the price much higher than most in our area can afford.
You may ask what happens to us. Well, the cold fact is we are scared to death because there is no housing available for the amount we have coming in, and even with outside help they want the rent to be lower than what is available in our area and nearby areas. There needs to be change not only for support for those with problems but for those who live on fixed incomes and can not afford the rent that apartments and houses currently have.
No Address really hit upon many aspects of why people become homeless and didn't end with everyone having a great outcome after all was said and done, but it did give hope that things can change and get better. People just need to work together to make sure change happens so that everyone has access to a home to call their own.
What No Address did not show was how hard it is to get housing when you have little, or no income and you are faced with being homeless much less the credit rating most landlords ask for and want before they will approve you even if you make enough for the rent.
It did not show how much these agencies that help get you into housing allow for housing and how much higher the market is making it almost impossible to find housing at the amount they allow. It did not show the frustration of finally getting help to find out you can't find housing within the price of the help given. What is needed countrywide is more low-income housing.
This movie was a start. Hope to see more movies made about this topic but delve more into the complexities of the process. Until then lets work together to make the world a better place for everyone.

Many thanks to I Am Living Proof the Movie for providing a sample of the product for this review. Opinions are 100% my own.
I Am Living Proof is a compelling and intimate look into the lives of three individuals who face an extraordinary life-altering event.
Bri, once a promising student, finds her academic dreams derailed by an illness that’s deteriorating her body. For seven years, she’s caught in a cycle of failed medical treatments and excruciating pain, pushing her toward assisted suicide.
Steve’s life spirals out of control after a workplace accident leaves him dependent on opioids. Jobless and desperate, he attempts to end it all with an overdose.
Mary, a mother of five, faces debilitating pain from a spinal injury that leaves her unable to care for her children until a vivid dream sparks an unexpected turning point.
Unbeknownst to them, their paths are about to intersect with Mario Murillo, a traveling preacher who’s spent his life sharing God’s love and healing power when his old-school-style tent revival happens to be in town. This chance encounter challenges their beliefs and offers a glimmer of hope in their darkest hours.
I Am Living Proof chronicles their transformative experiences as we together meet the real God of miracles.
In the summer of 2022, thousands gathered under a revival tent in Colorado Springs as churches across the community joined forces to host renowned evangelist Mario Murillo. Among the countless testimonies of healing that emerged, three extraordinary stories from local residents captured the attention of director Bob Maddux and producer Shane Gilbert. These compelling accounts of transformation each uniquely powerful - demanded to be shared with a broader audience, leading to the creation of this groundbreaking documentary.

Check back here after 3/5/2025 for my review.
3/8/25
First and foremost, I have personally been healed and have seen healing in my lifetime, as well as many miracles. My life is a story of ups and downs, but through it all, I can see each time Jesus was in control, even when things seemed dim. After the fact, we could see where he worked on his plan for my life.
I love seeing miracles and healing being done in people's lives which I am Living Proof shows happening by showing back stories of the people who were touched by God and where they are today. Even with seeing miracles and healing, I am always amazed by the love of God.
I am Living Proof shows the strength of God and what he can do in someone's life. It gives hope to those who have lost all hope. These are the kinds of things we need to see on a daily basis. It also shows some scenes of the Doctors or specialists who were trying to help these people before their healing and then what they had to say after these people were healed. A true testimony to what Jesus can do for you.
Sometimes as a Christian myself who has seen miracles and healing I need a reminder like this to get me through the day and remember just how far I have come in my battle with health issues.
I really can't say anything bad about this film but wish they could have shown more healing and miracles that happened.
