We really liked the accessories and how easily the tent pops up and down for use as well as storage. We do however wish the tent was more resistant to stains. Although ours has not stained yet we know what we like in quality of items like this and had just wished for more parachute like quality of fabric for this, with that being said this is a fun product and well worth the price and wow factor in our child's eyes. Those are the real people who have to be happy with the product when the day is over.

So we are on the way to the store last night and my husband is telling me about something he figured out about his phone after having it for almost a year. I was driving so I asked well what did you learn?  He said when he is taking a selfie or a picture he didn't like having to push the circle camera button so he learned he can just push the up or down button for the volume on the phone instead.

I quickly say well I wonder if that will work on my phone too. He has an android and I guess he just thought I was already doing it it that way so he took mine and sure enough my apple phone does this as well. Sometimes I feel like I am the last to learn these simple things.

Yes even old dogs can learn new tricks. Did you know this or is this new to you too?

New Utensils and a Giveaway too

I have several sets of utensils and find a use for each and everyone. One of my favorite kinds of utensils are silicone and bamboo, or wooden. This put two of those together in my favorite color red so this goes great with my kitchen items. I love how easily the utensils wash up after use. They are Stain Resistant. I do my dishes by hand but if I ever get a dishwasher I know it will be safe to use since they are also Dishwasher Safe. 

Cooking and Baking are one of my favorite things to do with my children which is why I suppose they can all cook and bake well. None of my kids are starving as long as they can find food to make a meal with.

I have been a little down because my Fibromyalgia has been flaring up so bad that every part of my body has been hurting at the same time. On top of that I ended up with a Migraine. I happen to get Ocular Migraines so most of the time I loose all or part of my site during the Migraine.  

I was trying to do a little computer work but it found it very depressing as my arms and hands were just so sore. I happened upon a shared link on my friends Facebook which you can see above. I like number so I took a guess I was sure I had it. No way it was wrong so I took a few more guesses until I finally figured it out. 

I decided to post it on my facebook fan page Marksvilleandme to see if anyone would play along. As of a little while ago I was up to over 700 comments so I decided to do a little blog so my facebook friends could come and see the answer in one place and how it was solved. Sometime things are not as easy as they appear to be. 

So we have ONE shoe that = 5

The the boy who = 5

The boy is holding 2 snacks 2+2 which = 4

The boy also has a pair of shoes which = 10

Add all this together you get 19

then we have one snack which = 2

Back to the problem 

We now have 

5+19x2=

by order of operations you do 19x2 first which =38

Now you have 5+38 =43

I had load of fun with this. It brought some cheer to my three days while I was in pain. I laughed, cried tears because I was laughing so hard, and kept updating my family about the progress. Getting Ready for Christmas

Some of my readers may remember that almost 6 years ago my husband fell at work, causing him to be disabled. After workman's comp ran out our funds we had saved went quicker then his disability starting up and we ended up homeless. It was not what we had ever imagined happening. Our family made it through by faith alone. There just is no other way to explain getting through about a year and half of being homeless and then a few months in an apartment from hell to being homeless for a little over a month again before getting the apartment we have now. 

During that time few people would help and those that did I had no way of thanking except to say thank you over and over again. It was a hard time. Several people helped out with gifts, sent cards, reached out on Facebook, and even took the time to come and visit. So this Christmas after two very rough years we are sitting down and have money enough to send out Cards to those who took the time to help a family in need.

Finding Comfortable Sheets

Recently I was sent a set of King Size sheets to try from PeachSkinSheets. I don't know about you but when I am shopping for sheets once I find a set I really like. I like to stop on because once they are no longer made you have to search all over again for a set that will feel great while laying in them, that fit your bed properly without slipping off, that wash well, and that look great with your decor. 

PeachSkinSheets might be solid color sheets but they meet all of the requirements that I need in a bed sheet. The only thing I suggest is that when you launder follow directions with washing them on their own and drying as instructed for best results. With King Size anything it easy to remember but with other sizes you tend to put in extra items to fill the washer. 

My favorite little extra is the little peach zipper pull. I know it has nothing to do with the sheets but it is a cute extra. 

I am always skeptic about new sheets. Most sheets I find fit perfect the first time and then once washed, won't wit the bed, slip off of the edges, bunch up, pill up, become scratchy, and the list goes on and on till I end up just using them for rags and out more money. 

For the sheets I love I try to buy more before they sell out or stop being made in that design. We try to have solid color sheets on hand that go with all of our bedroom decor. For us that would be black, grey, white, and cream at the moment.
