With having teens this would have been great to have several years ago when all of the kids where home but we still have two children out of 6 still in school so with one a teenager and the one heading into being a tween this will be used.

Boho style

One thing about having hair is being able to change up your look fast and easy with great hair accessories. One of my favorite go to accessory places happens to be Kisspat which has great items like this Boho adjustable feather headband. I love that it adjusts so that all of my girls from the largest to smallest head can wear this. 

To be honest I called this for my own but I know I will share. As a teenager I always wanted the dyed feather look. Now I can have that without changing my hair color. I am in love. Hope to see more colors and designs available in the near future.

Decorating new Apartment

Having finally moved into our new apartment after being homeless for more then a year we are excited to be settling in and Decorating. One way we decorate is with new bedding, curtains, maybe new throw pillows, and of course the ever blank walls. With that we spruce those up with pictures, art, shelving etc.

One way to display all of those nick nacks and pictures are with floating shelves like these photo ledges from Better Homes and Gardens. Nail Fungus

Having dealt with both athletes foot and nail fungus a long time. I finally found the cure for my athletes foot from my daughter's foot Dr. and now I am working on my Nail Fungus. Luckily I only have the problem with my two big toes and it doesn't effect any of my other toes. 

There are products like this one from Perfect Nail Solution for Nail Fungus problems. I like this one because it is a 2 step product. First step you put one milliliter dropper of solution in with the water you will soak our feet into for at least 5 minutes. Once you are done you will dry your feet and coat your toe nails with step two which goes on like nail polish. 

For extreme cases you might have to do this twice a day and use for three to four months. I am using this once a day and will have weekly updates on my instagram feed to show the progress along the way. I am super excited for this. I deal with thicker, yellow, ridged, and cracked toe nails, that are painful most days. 

What I love most about this is that the ingredients are natural so that I am not adding extra chemicals to my body. Splenda Zero

One of my favorite ways to start a busy day is with a smoothie. One quick smoothie to make is by using frozen bananas, frozen plain yogurt, a splash of milk, and a few drops of Splenda Zero. Swirl it all together in your blender of choice and enjoy a nice cool refreshing drink. 

Another recipe I like to make is made with frozen bananas, frozen yogurt, a splash of milk, some peanut butter, and sometimes if I want a chocolate fix I put in some cocoa. I finish is off with a few drops of Splenda Zero before blending.

Hair up or down?

Being a mom I am constantly putting my hair up to clean, work with the kids, or just get my hair out of my face, but I do like having it down too so I always try to keep a ponytail with me just in case.  My daughter is quite the same loving to have one on hand when she needs it which is most times when she would like to have her hair down.

Hair clogs are a thing of the past

Having had more girls then boys we have always had a problem with clogged drains from hair build up. I so wish we had been able to find these years ago. These have been a complete blessing. A gross blessing but a blessing none the less. I just feed one of the daisy's down the drain and every week or so we pull them up and cut off any build up, if there is too much and we can't reuse then we just trade it out for a new one. I do suggest using one of the snakes to clean your drain before you start using your daisy to get it extra clean. I know we were surprised by how much was already down our drain before using our daisy's.

Making a New Home

Having moved into a new home I was quick to pick up there had been a smoker here before. The smell just comes and goes and drives me nuts. I hate the smell, it makes me sick, have headaches, and really bothers my sleep. Just when I thought I couldn't stand it any longer we found my box of review items and quickly plugged in our Essential Oil Deffuser from Natrogix which has been a complete life saver. 

I love that this can stay off with no light, or you can have it on color change as it cycles through 7 colors, white, yellow, red, blue, green, orange,and purple, or you can pick which color is your favorite and keep it on a steady color.

Perfectly Round eggs and pancakes

We are a breakfast family so we like to change it up quite often from sandwiches to a full out buffett depending on how many of the family are present. My girls love round eggs for sandwiches and round pancakes for breakfast.

Layer it up

I have lots of plain shirts and I like to dress them up from time to time with a bit of extra color. A necklace like this one from Vogueknock is great because it breaks up the neckline nice with lots of strands of different sizes filled with pretty fuchsia stones.

It is a gold tone which isn't my favorite I like silver tones better but it works with this necklace and looks great with my plain tops.

Bunny Cuteness Overload

I love cute slippers but I am so sad these did not come in my size but that is ok I had a mini me who loves these slippers and fits them perfectly.

These slippers are so comfy, great for lazy laid back days. You know the days where you can relax all day and not worry about anything.

My girls will have their first day of school soon and these charms couldn't have came at a better time. Lots of different colors for them to mix and match with their outfits. They can be use on necklaces, chokers, or even used in crafting projects.

Collecting Caps

When your house is overrun with hats that no one wants to part with, you at least want to keep them looking their best for as long as you can. With cap washer like these from head2toes, you can do it with ease and keep your cap in the shape it is meant to be. 

Very easy to use jut snap your cap inside and place in washer or dishwasher, yes dishwasher. I think that is great. I have never used the dishwasher method because I have never had one but we have used these in our washer and they do a great job. I do suggest of you have a cap from a person who sweats a lot to pretreat the hat with soap first so you that it will get rid of the all the salt build up the first time through.

Camping Gear must have

One of the best camping gear items I suggest is a headlamp like this one. It is rechargeable, has 4 modes one light, outside lights, all three lights and blinking lights. Great for camping, fishing, hiking, stargazing, and working in dark places. I love that this comes with a case to store it, in between uses. The only thing that could make this better is if it recharged by solar power.

Fun Cat ball Toy

Having had small pets throughout my lifetime we have been through our share of toys. From extra large toys for our Saint Bernard to tiny toys for our hamsters and birds. Most of the time though our home has been filled with Kitty toys, but none quite like this.

This is a hard ball that rattles, is covered by twine, with an attached cord and feather.  It has sound, sight, and texture to keep your kitty entertained. Myself I wouldn't use this for a dog that likes to chew but I would use this for a ferret they would enjoy this very much.

Relax while watching the game

For us camping season is almost over but as for the use of a folding chair has just begun with school sports, gazing at the stars, or visiting friends or family. Charcoal for Teeth?

My daughter has been seeing all of the online ads for charcoal tooth whitening powder and wanted to use it. Me being a mom wanted to try it out first to make sure it was safe for her to use.

To be honest when I think of charcoal I instantly see in my mind hard black bricks made into powder and was more then a bit thrown back by it. To my surprise this Charcoal whitening powder is made from Coconut shells ground down into a powder. Not sure why they went with the word Charcoal but now that I know I am much more comfortable using it. 

I have stained teeth from Iron supplements so the Dentist has told me that whitening products would only take surface stains off of my teeth but would not change the overall color of my teeth. With this being said I still wanted to try it and even though there isn't much of a color change, I love the way my mouth and teeth feel. Amazingly smooth and shiny too.  

I do want to warn you to be ready for a black mess, I use an electric toothbrush so I suggest keeping your mouth closed as much as possible while brushing to keep black specks from flying all over your bathroom or your clothes. For us the specks cleaned up with a swipe of a cloth on the sink and walls, but I am not sure about the clothes. I suggest doing this before you get dressed or even in the shower. 

Very easy to use, wet toothbrush, dip in powder, brush teeth and tongue, then rinse well. Verdict is I will continue to use this in the future for a nice smile that feels like I just had my teeth cleaned by a Dentist.
