Mellanni Sheets

I have a few sets of Mellanni sheets but have never bought just a single piece before but needed a dark fitted sheet while we are staying at the motel. Sure they give us sheets, but there are times in a women's life where we want dark sheets. These sheets from Mellanni are microfiber. They are stain resistant and hold their color wash after wash.

Sometimes you will buy sheets that look and feel nice the first time you use them to find out after a few uses you area already seeing major wear. You won't find these with the Mellanni sheets which is probably why I keep coming back to their products over and over again.

My favorite part besides the the quality is that the fitted sheets are elastic all the way around so that you have a nice snug fit with no draping flat pieces which makes a bed look great as well keeping it in place while in use. I also love the generous 16 inch pockets that will fit most mattresses with room to spare.

Mellanni's sheets are available in many colors, sizes, and of course in flat as well.

If you are interested in Mellanni Sheets they are available on Amazon or on their site below.

My beloved Dandelion is retiring

So here we are at a crossroads you know where we choose to love or hate what has come to be. One of my beloved Crayola Crayon Colors is being retired. Good OLD DEPENDABLE Dandelion. The color that I used for the bright sun in many pictures I drew and of course the color I chose when coloring little children's hair or even other flowers not just Dandelions. I sure hope Crayola knows they are loosing a good one, one that brought light and happiness to many a person.

So with that being said I have decided that Dandelion should go on bottles of Dandelion Wine for his retirement tour, so that us who are older and will miss Dandelion the most can raise our glasses one more time to a Crayon that served his people well. Bon Voyage my friend you will be missed and hope you leave behind a color that will brighten up everyday like you did.

DR Magnum Magnifying Glass

As a child I always like to play with a magnifying glass because I loved to pretend I was Nancy Drew than as I have grown older I find that magnifying glasses are more then a toy. I remember as a child watching Mama Meisner read her paper with it while eating her voortman cookies. My husband recently had to get bifocals so that he can read the small print on items while for me the smaller the print the clearer it is without my glasses on. Eyes are a peculiar thing if you ask me. My husband and I are a day apart and by our eyes you would think we were worlds apart.

When this magnifying glass came I was excited to have one mainly to just have on hand in case. It was packaged well with instructions, and a mini flat credit card size magnifying glass which I really like. This has 3x and 45x magnifier. I like that this has a 3x led for night time reading as well. Lots of people have to take meds at night so this is great because you always want to read you are taking the right medication.

This does require 3AAA batteries which are not included to use the 3x led light. The weight of the magnifying glass is just right and it works great we all gave it a test ride. This makes a great gift for someone with eyesight problems or just someone interested in checking out tiny objects say an ant hill, bugs, or even a patch of moss.

Baseball Caps Everywhere!

Is your home filled with baseball caps from your family members, a baseball cap lover, a collector, or even by yourself? Then you might have a problem finding a spot for all of those hats. I have one solution for you that has worked for us in the past and still does to this day.

Bloodline Sports has a great #hatrack that needs no tools for assembly, and super easy to set up. I did this all by myself. Yeah me! When you get your box inside there will be 4 door hangers and 2 straps. Each strap holds 9 hats so you will have enough for a total of 18 hats.

I really liked how easy this was to get up and ready to use. I just slide the over the door hanger on the top of the door and one on the bottom and then adjusted the strap so that it fit perfect for my door. This adjustable part is great for those who don't have standard doors.

The Bloodline Sports #hatrack can be found on Amazon.

Manicure with Glass?

I have been in need for a new manicure stick so when this popped up I was really excited to try a new way to keep my cuticles healthy. Knowing it was glass kind of made me wonder but I have had glass nail files and have loved them at least until my girls borrowed them never to see them again. I am taking they worked well that is why I didn't see them again. So with that said I gave it a whirl with dry skin first which was ok but I like my cuticles worked on better while wet so I usually work on my cuticles while relaxing in the bath.

My cuticles really needed a lot of work and are still a work in progress but this #GERmanikure glass manicure stick is making the work so easy. I am able to use it to push back my cuticles and then turn it over to file my cuticles down. I don't have to worry about blades which I have always hated because sometimes they slip and cut jagged which can result in pain or a bleed. With #GERmanikure I didn't have any of that. It was clear sailing and my cuticles are loving all of the extra loving care, along with myself not being afraid of causing damage while using #GERmanikure.

This is great for home or professional use, can be sterilized and will last a long time if taken care of properly.

The #GERmanikure glass manicure stick can be found on Amazon.

What GERmanikure has to say about their product.
This unusual GERManikure Czech glass manicure stick is crafted with a tapered tip on one end and slanted tip on the other that makes it particularly well suited for filing nails, cuticles and small calluses or bits of hardened skin near the nail bed. Crazy as it sounds, you did read that right; you can file your cuticles! The tapered end allows filing in small, narrow and creviced areas, like the edges or underside of the nail. The textured slant tip may be used to gently and safely scrape dead cuticle tissue or file hardened skin without risk of damage to the surrounding skin or nail bed. This stick is handcrafted in the Czech Republic from authentic Bohemian glass which is specially formulated and tempered against breaking. The texture is etched directly into the surface of both ends and is impossible to wear off. Safe Because there are no sharp edges or blades, the dead cuticle tissue and hardened skin is cleanly and safely removed with no risk of accidental cuts or other nail damage. Hygienic and Sterilizable Glass itself has natural antibacterial/anti-fungal qualities, cleans up easily with simple soap and water, and is durable enough to hold up to a chemical bath or high heat sterilizer. There are no microscopic crevices and cracks in the uniformly sandblasted surface of this manicure stick that will harbor fungus, bacteria, or dead skin particles. Use Wet or Dry The GERManikure crystal glass manicure stick works equally well wet or dry, on natural nails, acrylics, or even just rough callused areas of skin. Whatever you want to smooth, this clever glass manicure stick is strong and durable enough to do the job. Tough and Durable This tool isn’t as brittle as you might think. It is crafted of authentic durable Bohemian glass which is specially hardened and tempered to resist breaking. This special glass treatment not only enhances the clarity and sparkle of the glass, but also adds resiliency. While breakage is possible with all types of glass, it is difficult to do with this glass, so dropping this tool from a short distance (such as counter height to floor) will, in most cases, not break it. Leather Case Even though this crystal glass manicure stick is crafted of the finest hardened Czech crystal and designed to last for decades, GERManikure goes a step further. This file comes complete with a custom fitted leather sleeve to provide additional protection. Leather is naturally cushioning and dehumidifying. The case will prevent accidental damage when it is not in use as well as additional shock absorption in case the manicure stick is accidentally dropped when not in use. GERManikure believes in long tool life, healthful living, and good environmental stewardship. Each manicure stick is handcrafted in the Czech Republic by trained adult artisans paid a living wage. This item is guaranteed free from unethical workmanship such as forced labor or child labor.
