Kids in the Kitchen

We have had many children go through our home. It doesn't matter if they have been male or female each have enjoyed making pretend meals with kid sized kitchen gear. This set has a little bit of everything to make a great pretend chef.

Even though my children are older the youngest still like to play pretend from time to time. Yes they know their way around the real kitchen but they are still imaginative to play pretend with their nieces.

Do you have pets?

Growing up we always had pets and I heard my mom always saying something about all of the pet fur. I so wish she was able to have something like this, and I wish I had something like this before now. The LaikaGears lint and pet hair remover is awesome.

It is reusable, you don't need to fight to find the end on a sticky piece of paper to get a new piece, it is self cleaning, and is super easy to use. When it gets full pull off the bottom empty and you are ready to go.

I love to have the big one near my cleaning supplies, while the smaller one is kept near our door on the way out for last minute primping. The mini lint and pet hair remover can also be packed, stored in car or purse.

What I love most is that it is reusable, not more filling up landfills with sticky tape or empty plastic holders. A clean home makes me a happy mom.

Stamp Markers for Rainy Days

Having art supplies readily available is very important to me. I grew up in house where I was well loved, but we didn't have extra money for things like art supplies. When we started to have children I wanted to make sure to have lots of things on hand to keep their growing minds busy. Some of those things include paints, construction paper, glue, magazines, crayons, and markers like these from Hapree. These markers are great because they have two purposes. One for drawing the other for stamping.

My children have enjoyed making different projects over the years like homemade greeting cards, celebration banners, mosaics, etc. Seeing their art grow over the years has brought me many happy memories. These markers come in a nice box to keep your markers neat and tidy. They are also washable which I am sure most moms are thankful for. They write smoothly and are great for small hands.

Setting Place

I always have a running wish list of items going both in hard copy and online. This was one of the items I had on my wish list that I was able to get to review. So excited. These little mini chalkboards with easels contain 18 chalkboards, a sponge eraser, and one stick of chalk.

Personally I like chalk markers better but this chalk writes nice and smooth. You can use these for place settings at a table, for potluck dinners so everyone knows what is available, for make your own sundae bars, hot dog bars, etc.

These would be awesome use at a sweet sixteen birthday for the candy table so everyone knew what was in the containers before filling up their treat bags. So many ideas. These would even be great for teachers. I can see lots of crafts having these incorporated in. My imagination just runs wild with items like this.

Castile Soap

I was recently able to try out some products from Dr. Jacobs' Naturals. They sell Castile Soaps in liquids and bars. To my knowledge I don't think I had ever tried them before. After doing so I am sold. The Almond Honey liquid soap is great for use in the shower. I love the smell and it leaves my skin feeling clean and soft.

My husband really enjoyed the Luscious Lavender for helping sloth away dead skin on his body. He would love to see more manly scents as he says it. I love the bar for my feet, legs, elbows, and knees.

As for the Eucalyptus liquid soap this is great for cold and allergy season really helps to open the nasal passage ways. What I love most is that these products are made in the USA. That makes me proud.
